This 3-ingredient recipe makes a stunning dessert and is surprisingly simple to make. Start to finish is less than 30 minutes! Delicious and great for both those who love chocolate and those that try not to eat it – they can just eat the fruit and leave the chocolate cup!
Ingredients – Makes 6
- 1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups whipped cream, sweetened
- 2 cups mixed berries
Line a 6-cup standard sized muffin tin with parchment cupcake wrappers. Don’t use traditional paper cupcake wrappers as they will stick to the cups. Set aside.
Place dark chocolate chips in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 60 seconds. Stir, then cook an additional 60 seconds. Repeat until the chocolate becomes smooth and melty.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of the mixture into each parchment cup. Spread the chocolate all around the inside of the parchment cup, covering it entirely. Place in freezer until hardened, about 15 minutes.
Gently remove the parchment cups from the chocolate. Place chocolate cups on a serving platter. Fill with whipped cream and fresh berries (You may want to leave the whipped cream out for those who prefer plain fruit.) Serve and enjoy!
