Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 large beaten egg
2 c. panko bread crumbs
Lemon cut into wedges, for serving
Tartar sauce, for serving
Pat fish dry and season on both sides with salt and pepper. Place flour, egg and panko in 3 shallow bowls.
Coat each piece of fish first in flour and then in the egg. Finally press into the panko breadcrumbs covering completely.
Place fish in the basket of the air fryer – you will probably need to do 2 pieces at a time. Cook at 400 for 5 minutes, then gently flip over and cook for 6 minutes longer or until fish is golden brown and easily flakes with a fork.
Serve with lemon wedges and tarter sauce.
