Do you enjoy and appreciate the performing arts? Do you like making people feel welcome and comfortable? Are you looking for a way to give back to the community? One of the many fabulous local theaters may be the perfect volunteer position for you!
The many venues in the DFW metroplex each strive to make their volunteer programs an enriching experience where great relationships and friendships are made. Volunteers are critical to the success of the productions, and are considered an integral part of the team.
Positions are available for ushering, program distribution, fundraising, administrative duties, special events and more. Orientation and training generally required.

You will find that volunteering at a theater provides a creative outlet in addition to a new circle of friends. Click on the link associated with the theater at which you would like to volunteer to learn about the various opportunities available. Apply online or give them a call. You may need to be patient and persistent; the cast and crew works hard to get the next play on stage and sometimes calls are not answered and messages not returned unintentially. Usually this means, they really need your help!
