This pasta salad is my favorite to make once the weather starts getting nice! With just a few ingredients, this recipe is simple, delicious and cost effective. Perfect to bring to a pot-luck! Easily doubled or tripled!

INGREDIENTS
1 lb. orecchiette (some people call this type of pasta “shells”)
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1 – 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar (depending on the flavor you like)
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pint. cherry tomatoes, halved
Fresh basil, torn, for garnish

DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain, then set aside.
Wisk together olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a serving bowl.
Season oil and vinegar mixture with salt and pepper.
Add pasta, garlic and tomatoes to dressing and toss.
Garnish with fresh basil.
Serve and enjoy!
