About Park Lane Pantry Granola

Park Lane Pantry is a unique, healthy and delicious granola brand- honestly the best granola I’ve ever had. That being said, I do not consider myself a granola expert. Before I tried Park Lane Pantry granola, honestly, I could take it or leave it. And, I admit, in my mind, granola was granola; I thought they were all the same. I know better now.

The first Park Lane Pantry recipe was created by Elaine Pearlman in her kitchen while she journeyed back to health after her breast cancer diagnosis. During this time she adopted a strict all-organic, cancer-fighting diet, and looked for a granola in stores that fit into her nutrition plan. As she found most brands contain gluten, dairy, soy and added sugar, Elaine and her daughter experimented to come up with a healthier recipe that did not sacrifice taste.

What Makes Park Lane Pantry Granola different?

This granola brand is all about quality and great taste. Slow toasted and double baked in small batches, it is made with premium ingredients. The end result is a  unique, fresh and delicious product.

Currently there are four flavors; Elaine’s Original, Dark Chocolate Crunch, Almond Cranberry and Orange Cranberry. Each one is vegan, soy free, dairy free, gluten free, keto friendly and GMO free. For those with a nut allergy, don’t worry, you were not forgotten – the Orange Cranberry flavor is nut free.

Monk fruit extract explained

Park Lane Pantry Granola uses monk fruit extract to sweeten their recipes. I was unfamiliar with monk fruit, but learned since it’s risen to celebrity status as a natural sugar alternative over the last few years. It’s 200 times sweeter than sugar, and contains no calories, sodium, fat or carbohydrates. It does not raise blood sugar levels, and has no known side effects. The FDA deems monk fruit to be “generally recognized as safe (GRAS)” for everyone, including pregnant women and children.

ChocZero brand dark chocolate

Park Lane Pantry uses ChocZero brand dark chocolate in their Dark Chocolate Crunch recipe. ChocZero is a great partner for Park Lane Pantry because their products are keto friendly, GMO free and sweetened with monk fruit.

No Preservatives

Park Lane Pantry is recognized by the Good Food Awards for their Seed-to-Plate transparency standards by making their granola free of GMO. No GMO means no preservatives. Even so, the product has a shelf life of six months before the bag is opened. Once opened, they recommend you store the product in the refrigerator and eat within two weeks. In my opinion, once you open the bag, it will never last two weeks!

Price

The price is comparable to other specialty granola brands currently on the market, but obviously more than mass produced brands that use cheaper ingredients.
