This wonderful flourless chocolate cake is rich and delicious. Also easy to make with only 3 ingredients. It’s perfect for any celebration!


  •  6 large eggs
  •  12 oz semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  •  6 tbsp unsalted butter
  •  Strawberries for decoration (optional)
  •  Powdered sugar (optional)


Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 6 or 7 inch round springform pan.
Crack eggs into the mixing bowl, then whip on high speed for 7 – 10 minutes. You are done when the eggs are at lease triple in volume, stiff, and a pale yellow color. 

Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in the microwave. Heat at 30 second intervals, stirring in between to avoid burning until chocolate is melted and the mixture forms a smooth paste.

Add the egg mixture from the first step into the chocolate mixture, adding small portions at a time. Do not add the egg mixture all at once. Stir by hand with a large spatula after each portion added until no egg streaks remain.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 40-50 minutes in your preheated oven, until the top is puffy and cracked. Remove cake from oven and let it cool.
Serve and enjoy! Decorate the top with strawberries and/or powdered sugar if desired.
Note:The cake flattens slightly as it cools.
