Homemade chocolate peanut butter cups are a delightful treat. I am obsessed with them. This recipe from my mom, inspired by commercial candy such as Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, is exceptionally good and incredibly easy! You don’t need special candy molds; you can use a muffin or cupcake tin. This recipe makes six servings using the usual size muffin tin, but you can make twelve smaller candies using a mini-muffin tin if you prefer. And they are freezer friendly! Make them in advance to serve another time.
3 Ingredient Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

- Place 6 liners in a cupcake tin.
- Mix the peanut butter with the powdered sugar, stirring until smooth.
- Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of the melted chocolate (you can melt in the microwave) in the bottom of each cupcake liner. Next, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate .Cover the peanut butter layer with more chocolate, and smooth out the top. Refrigerate for 1 hour (until the chocolate hardens).
